Certificate III in Health Services Assistant
This qualification reflects the role of a variety of workers who provide assistance to health professional staff for the care of clients. Health services assistance involves the worker in direct client contact under supervision. This course provides the skills and knowledge required to perform a variety of functions including patient services, blended patient/cleaning services, blended patient services/food service,and Operating Theatre Technician.
Certificate II in Health Support Services
This qualification reflects the role of workers who provide support for the effective functioning of health services. At this level workers complete tasks under supervision involving known routines and procedures or complete routine and variable tasks in collaboration with others in a team environment. This course provides the skills and knowledge required to perform a variety of functions including patient services, blended patient/cleaning services and food services.
Certificate III in Cleaning Operations
This qualification reflects the role of cleaners responsible for undertaking a range of cleaning tasks according to their work schedules, liaising with clients and in some cases members of the public, and operating in a range of general residential and commercial settings as well as specialist cleaning environments. The cleaner may work alone, with or without supervision, and has responsibility for selecting, preparing and using appropriate cleaning methods for a range of cleaning situations while ensuring safe work practices.
Certificate IV in Cleaning
This qualification applies to individuals who use well-developed skills and a broad knowledge base in a wide variety of cleaning management contexts. They may be responsible for wide-ranging operational cleaning management activity and are responsible for managing staff, providing quotations, planning and overseeing work and providing customer support.
