Daniels Associates – History as a Registered Training Organisation
Origins and Early Focus
Daniels Associates began delivering industry-focused training since 2003, with an initial emphasis on cleaning, food services, and laundry operations. These three core sectors formed the foundation of the organisation’s training approach, reflecting a strong commitment to supporting frontline industries with practical, work-ready qualifications. Daniels Associates work closely with employers, industry groups, and government agencies to ensure that all training aligned with real-world skills needs, compliance requirements, and workplace productivity goals.
Ongoing Industry Commitment
Today, Daniels Associates continues to focus on its original three pillars: cleaning, food services, and again, laundry operations. The organisation works closely with employers to ensure training remains relevant and practical, and we continue to update its learning resources and delivery methods to meet the needs of diverse learners, including those in regional and remote areas.
Recent Qualification Review – Case Study Focus and Adult Learning Principles
In 2024–2025, Daniels Associates conducted a comprehensive review of all qualifications and learning resources. This review aimed to modernise our delivery to better support adult learners, many of whom are returning to study after years in the workforce. As a result, we redesigned our materials to be more case study–driven, promoting critical thinking, real-world application, and engagement. These scenarios mirror common workplace situations, helping students apply knowledge rather than memorise content.
Innovative Use of Electronic Assessments for Mobile and Digital Assessment
As part of our digital transformation, we have integrated the use of Electronic Forms to deliver interactive, user-friendly assessments. Learners can now complete assessments directly from their mobile phones, tablets, or desktop devices, making study more flexible, especially for those in shift-based or remote work environments. The platform is not a Learning Management System; it is a simple to use electronic form students access via their mobile phone – if a student can send a text message, they can access and use our electronic assessments. A sample electronic assessment is included with this proposal.
This digital innovation reduces administrative barriers, enhances student autonomy, and supports timely trainer feedback.
