Daniels Associates deliver the right skills performed according to best practice industry standards across cleaning, kitchen and laundry operations. We have trainers with expertise in catering (5 qualified chefs) and 4 trainers with a life time experience in cleaning and laundry operations.

Add to this Daniels Associates 20 years experience in selling cleaning software and consulting services to the Healthcare market across Australia and we have the demonstrated expertise in healthcare.

Duration: 12-24 months

This qualification covers workers who provide support for the effective functioning of health services, requiring discretion and judgement. These functions are carried out under supervision. These workers may also provide a team leadership, workplace training or leading hand function. Health Support Services do not involve direct care assistance tasks such as assisting other staff with care of clients.

PACKAGING RULES

15 units of competency are required for award of this qualification, including:
4 core units
11 elective units

What you are really going to do

  • Attend monthly workshops conducted in the workplace
  • Participate in lots of work shop activities
  • Conducts workplace audit and report on results
  • Work in groups to complete small workplace projects
  • Complete small homework assignments

How you will be assessed

  • Workshop activities and workplace simulations
  • Homework Assignments, mostly multiple choice
  • Short answer assignments
  • Participate in workplace interviews and demonstrations
  • Workplace evidence of previous work you have performed
  • Note: There are NO exams

Career Pathways

  • All candidates who undertake SIT30707 Certificate (III) in Hospitality are provided with advice on employment and training options. Candidates who complete Certificate III and intend to further their knowledge are encouraged to enrol in the Certificate IV program.

National Recognition

  • Daniels Associates recognises relevant qualifications issued by other RTOs. There is no fee for National Recognition. Where the qualification was gained more than 3 years ago we reserve the right to check that competence is current.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

  • RPL is an assessment process that enables an applicant to gain recognition of skills and knowledge regardless of how they were achieved. This may include formal or informal learning, work experience or general life experience. In order to grant RPL Daniels Associates trainer and assessor must be confident that the applicant is currently competent against the units of competence in the qualification. The evidence to demonstrate this may include certificate, references from past employers, testimonials from clients and work samples. Where RPL is granted you do not have to participate in further training and assessment for skills and knowledge that you already possess. There is a fee for RPL assessment.
