The Federal Government Traineeship scheme was set up in conjunction with the states to provide a range of nationally recognised qualifications. The New Apprenticeship program is designed to encourage employers to improve the skills of their labour force by providing on-the-job flexible training programs backed by government incentives.
No two businesses are the same, and that is why Traineeships have been designed to be flexible, while at the same time providing nationally recognised quality training developed by industry for industry.
Participation in Traineeships are open to all employees within a company or organisation who have not completed a Certificate Level 3 or higher qualification in any field of study. Both new and existing employees are eligible to participate in New Apprenticeship courses.
A new employee is anyone who has been working for less than 3 months full time or 12 months part time.
Did you know there is $4,000 of government funding available for Certificate III and higher qualifications.
Who is eligible to obtain this funding? It is available for anyone from the age of 15 to 65 years of age!
There will even be a small surplus of funds for you to use at your discretion after paying for the training.
Government funding is available for permanent employees, either part time or full time of any working age.
